Channel Clusters Dissemination Seminar - Friday 23rd September 2011

The first in a series of 3 Channel Clusters Dissemination seminars took place on Friday 23rd September 2011 in Teagasc Ashtown, Dublin 15.

Ronan Gillespie, who is business development mentor for 2 clusters gave a presentation on: 'How Effective Channel Management  Increased Sales for the Cluster Companies'.

Declan Ennis of Green Isle Foods then spoke about his experiences as the owner of a start up food business in the mid 1990s as well as working as Export Controller for Green Isle Foods. 

Janet Drew of Janet's Country Fayre and Michael  Kyle of Kyle's Kitchen, who were both participants on the programme, gave the audience an overview of how the programme helped them in the running of their businesses.   

Finally, Dean Attwell of Oakland International gave a presentation on Oakland's logistics business in the UK and how they can assist small irish producers to reach customers in the UK.

The seminar ran from 9.30am to 1pm with a light lunch served afterwards.
