Channel Cluster Dissemination Seminar on 23rd September

The first Channel Clusters Dissemination seminar will take place on the morning of Friday, 23rd September 2011. The venue is Teagasc Ashtown in Dublin 15. The meeting will start at 9.15am and finish at 12.45pm with a light lunch served afterwards. Please see agenda below:

9.30 - 10.10am: Ronan Gillespie of Next Step International who was one of the three mentors on the programme. He will speak on the subject of: ' How effective Channel Management Increased Sales for Cluster Companies'.

10.10 - 10.50am: Declan Ennis, Export Controller with Green Isle Foods and formerly MD of Ennis Foods will present on the subject of Lessons in Successful Exporting. He will give examples from both companies he worked for.

11.00 - 12 noon: Janet Drew of Janet's Country Fayre and a second participant (tbc) will speak about their experience on the programme and how participation made a big difference for their businesses.

12.00 - 12.45pm: Finally Dean Attwell of Oakland International will give an overview of his business. The title of his presentation will be: 'Supply Chain Solutions from Ireland to the UK'. Oakland manage the logistics for many Irish products going into the UK multiples including Mr Crumb, Glenilen Farm, Clonakilty Foods and others. This seminar is open to food and drink SMEs based in Ireland.
