Launch of the Project

The launch of the project will be at Shop 2012 in the RDS on the 25th, 26th and 27th of September. After the official launch we will be recruiting our 25 companies with whom we will work with over the following two years in order to help them with their NPD, innovation and branding, resulting in the launch of 25 new products.

Get In front of key buyers at SHOP 2012

As part of the IEA Food & Drink Export Council's remit to help members develop a competitive advantage in the marketplace, we are delighted to announce our support and partnership of SHOP 2012 - Ireland's premier retail, food, drink and hospitality event.

"New products are the key route for Irish food and drink producers to expand their sales in the more established markets in Europe. SHOP 2012 is an ideal event to view new products and discuss potential market opportunities. The Irish Exporters Association will, therefore, be using SHOP 2012 to launch its Food Chains for Competitive Advantage (FCCA) programme to assist a wide range of Irish producers to create new products and accelerate their introduction to new markets." John Whelan, Chief Executive, Irish Exporters Association
