Meet the Companies...so far

The following companies are commencing the FCCA programme as of now with the below mentioned consultants are;

1. Clonarn Clover

Ireland’s largest dedicated Free Range egg supplier.
The impromptu tiny Clonarn Clover seed was sown 18 years ago on a small farm in County Cavan  (production unit is in Co Meath) when Leo Farrelly identified the need to diversify.
Free Range Egg production was considered a good option so Leo & his wife Margaret set up a production unit with 150 laying hens.
The discerning consumer soon recognised the arrival of a genuine, flavoursome, free range egg in the market place, so growth took place immediately.
Today, Clonarn Clover packs the eggs from almost 100,000 Free Range laying hens.
Our 26 dedicated production units, based within a radius of 60km from our packing centre, along with our  14 employees form the effective TEAM that produce, pack and distribute our guaranteed Free Range eggs to our prestigious customer base.
Clonarn Clover Mission Statement: Clonarn Clover is a company committed to understanding customer requirements and supplying Quality Product and Service.  Integrity is considered paramount in our dealings with all our partners.

2. Hogans Farm

What started out  by rearing a few turkey’s each Christmas, Martin & Teresa Hogan worked hard to make it the a successful business it is today.
Now in its second generation, Hogan’s Farm is operated and managed by their son’s Fintan & Paul Hogan.
From the beginning, the company established a name for quality and have worked hard to guard and sustain this reputation. Many of the traditional handcrafted methods used in the 1960’s are still in use today. These traditions ensure our products are unique in the quality of meat our customers get but also in the taste.
A local employer of over 65 full time permanent staff and 25 part-time, with an additional 50 temporary staff taken on during the very busy festive season, means Hogan’s Farm is not only invested in its own business but also in the local community. All the staff are highly trained across areas of food safety, hygiene and animal welfare.
Hogan’s Farm operation has grown in previous year’s expanding into different areas to accommodate market demands creating 3 different divisions –
The first, and where it all started, is at the farm in Cortown, Kells, Co. Meath.
Here, are turkey sheds for rearing our turkeys on site, main production facility to further process fresh turkey and this is also the location of the main head office and depot for the fleet of van sales.
The Second, is the Cooked Plant facility located in Rathcairn, Co. Meath.
As the fresh turkey business started to grow so did the need for cooked turkey. A state of the art cooked plant facility was built in 2003 to accommodate this need and was immediately awarded a European Union Licence. Both plants have Grade A BRC and Bord Bia Approved status to insure our customers the highest quality standards.
The Third entity, is the Cold Storage facility located in Kells, Co. Meath
At 10,000 sq ft our storage facility is equipped  to handle all our needs and others for cold storage.

3. Seerys

Genuine home baking quality from an industrial-sized baker
The story of Seerys is a genuine Irish success story. In the late eighties, Mrs Philo Seery noticed that it was hard to find traditional Irish fruit cakes in the shops. Using her own recipes and operating from the family kitchen in rural Ireland, she began to bake quality cakes and puddings on a small scale for the local market.
As word spread and reputation grew, it was not long before we realised that Philo’s recipes and baking were exactly what the people were after – quality baking with the best ingredients, resulting in a real home baking taste. Within just 10 years, our business had moved to its current home. And that is a custom-built bakery on a two acre site in the village of Tinryland, just outside Carlow town in the southeast of Ireland. And home to one of the region’s best known family bakeries.
Now, we’re proud to number Ireland’s biggest retailers among our customers and continue to offer top quality bakery cakes and puddings in a reliable and service-driven manner. We now also have retail partners in the UK and look forward to more expansion in the coming years
There are 25 full staff with 15 seasonal staff.
