Liquid Egg Range - Launched at IEA Stand at Ploughing Championship 25th September, by Clonarn Clover Ltd.

 

The Irish Exporters Association Chief Executive John Whelan, today (Tuesday 25th September) announced on the IEA stand at the Ploughing Championship that Clonarn Clover, Ireland’s largest dedicated Free Range egg supplier, based just outside Kells in Co. Meath have developed a liquid egg range as a result of the IEA’s FCCA programme. The product is targeted at people in the health and wellness sectors, home bakers, industry bakers as well as the general public. Clonarn Clover will be cooking omlettes on the stand throughout Wednesday and Thursday for the public to sample.

John Whelan said at the launch;’’Clonarn Clover has continuously brought innovative new products to the market. In year 2000 the Mega Egg range enriched with Omega 3, Vitamin E, Organic Selenium (Selplex) and Organic Eggs were added to their range. In 2001, a new state of the art packing centre was opened, the first of its kind in Western Europe. More recently in 2013 the O ‘Egg range was launched. The commitment of the Clonarn Clover management team to excellence in all areas of its business has positioned the company as Ireland’s leading supplier of Free Range Eggs to the retail sector, and for export market growth.’’

The Food Chains for Competitive Advantage (FCCA) programme is funded assistance by the EU’s European Regional Development Fund and supported by Bord Bia . It has been developed by the Irish Exporters Association and  is geared to support 25 Irish food and drink companies to create and launch a range of new products for the export market and will assist innovative companies to overcome some of the barriers to more rapid new innovative products creation and release to market.
